The Coachman will be opening on a 100% Table Service basis, both inside and outside (in the garden).
Inside we have a capacity for 90 customers in a socially distanced layout.
This comprises of:-
• Restaurant - 40 covers - Booking required

Whether you have booked a table or you are “walking in”, you must do the following:-

• Sanitise your hands via the dispenser in the front porch
• Every member of your party to “Sign in” via the NHS Track & Trace app displayed in the front porch
• Wait at the Host station at entry of the pub to be seated
*Failure to do any of the above, will result in you not being served and being asked to leave – Sorry, but they are the New Normal Rules.
Booking & Dur ation of booking
Tables can be booked in advance by calling 01606 8972208 from
11am – 7pm daily.
Tables can be booked for up to 3 Hours, if a booking is required for longer, please discuss this with Justin (Landlord) or Dave (Manager) upon making your booking.
If you are running late for your booking, your table will be held for 15mins after it’s reserved time, thereafter your table will become available for re booking, and we can not guarantee you a table for when you do arrive.
Capacity and Wait Times
When walk in tables are filled to capacity, we are unable to take further walk ins until a walk in table is available. This applies to both dining and drinking customers.
WE STRONGLY ADVISE THAT YOU BOOK – BE THAT FOR DINING OR DRINKING
We will be operating with our normal team, and therefore due to the constraints of Table Service, service may be longer than expected. For this we apologise and ask that you are patient and bear with us.
Moving around (use of Toilets & Departure), Social distancing & Group sizes
When moving inside the pub to use the toilets or to depart, please wear your facemask, covering your mouth & nose (holding your facemask, does not constitute wearing it!).
When moving around inside the pub (when applicable) and in the outside areas, please maintain 2m Social distancing from groups other than your own.
Inside the pub, group sizes are restricted to 2 households or The Rule of 6. In the event of a query as to whether this is being adhered to, the Pub Management’s decision is final, and this may affect your booking, with no responsibility attached to the pub.
Outside the pub, groups are limited to up to 30 customers, however the maximum table size is for 6 people, and our service is STRICTLY seated table service ONLY. In the event that a large (up to 30) outside gathering is required, you MUST book this requirement prior to arrival.
Hand Sanitisation stations are located at the Front & Rear entrances of the pub.
One Way System
All entry to the pub is via the FRONT Entrance, and all Departure to the pub is via the REAR entrance.
If seated inside, when entering & exiting the toilets, please be mindful of others in the pub, and maintain your social distancing.
